Paul Wonsek has been a designer, lecturer and consultant in the entertainment industry for over 35 years. He has designed scenery and lighting for over 300 theatrical productions, and a resume and portfolio of work can be viewed at Theatrical Production Design. His television production design credits range from CNN to the 1996 Olympics to Tyler Perry Studios, and his portfolio can be viewed at Television Production Design. He has also taught design at Boston University, Wright State University and Webster University, and lectured at major broadcast and theatrical events throughout the United States and Canada.

Twenty years ago, In Touch Ministries in Atlanta asked Paul Wonsek Associates to consult on a new sanctuary, specifically on how to make the interior architecture and lighting look and function better for television.  PWA used elements of theatrical design to make the facility more visually appealing and also improve the speaker to audience relationship, for both television and live presentation.  Since designing the first architectural project, PWA has designed restaurants with television or theatrical themes, television studios, theaters, conference facilities, corporate pavilions, youth centers and churches with television, music and drama ministries.

As larger church and performance facilities have added increased technology, the coordination between production elements has become difficult to organize.  Over the years, PWA has formed trusting relationships with lighting, sound, video, broadcast, rigging, drapery and special effects companies to the point where we feel comfortable offering one stop production facility design.  Rather than a large company with employees in all categories of design, we offer you access to the principals of multiple companies who have bonded together as a unique design unit.  We can offer combined scheduling, and design coordination, and most important, a unified approach to the production design elements that reinforces the speaker to audience relationship.
