Paul Wonsek has been a designer and consultant in the entertainment and church industry for over forty years. Based in New York City, he frequently designed at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia, and off-broadway at the Hudson Guild Theater. His varied theatrical design career also includes many years as resident set and lighting designer for the 11,000 seat Municipal Opera of St. Louis. For over a decade, he designed television and architectural projects in Atlanta for Dr. Charles Stanley and In Touch Ministries. Most recently he was the production designer for Tyler Perry Studios, collaborating with Tyler Perry on several movies and a dozen television series.
Paul Wonsek Associates was founded over thirty years ago, designing and consulting for churches, youth centers, events and specialty projects. Clients include Billy Graham Conference Center, "The Hub" Youth Center, St. Charles, IL, First Baptist Church Atlanta sanctuary renovation, BET Soundstage Restaurant and 3M Pavilion Disneyfest, Singapore. PWA has also designed architectural projects for the film industry, including the backlot campus for Tyler Perry Studios, and the film and television backlot for Savannah College of Art and Design.
